FAQs
No, Point to Point Health and Wellness does not accept insurance. This allows us to provide more personalized, high quality care without the limitations and restrictions often imposed by insurance companies. We want to sit and get to know you and your health and wellness needs. We focus on spending the time needed to truly listen, evaluate, and treat each patient as an individual, not as a billing code. We aim to keep care both high-quality and affordable. For many common concerns, our pricing is similar to, or lower than, what patients might pay at urgent care or the ER after insurance, without the added uncertainty of multiple bills.
You may use your HSA/FSA to pay for your P2P visit and in addition we are happy to provide a superbill at anytime after your appointment which you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
If you are referred to a specialist, have lab work ordered or need medications at your pharmacy - you can use your insurance at these facilities per their policies

Does P2P take insurance?
If P2P doesn’t take insurance, how do I pay?
2
Prior to your appointment a secure link will be sent to you to place a card on file. You can use your debit card, credit card, HSA/FSA card. This card will not be charged until AFTER your visit. This card will be kept on file in our secure partner Stripe account for ease of future appointments and medication purchases. If you choose not to put a card on file, your appointment will not be held. At P2P we fill up fast, so a $100 no show fee will be charged to the card on file.
Does P2P provide primary care services?
3
No, not at this time. Point to Point Health and Wellness is designed to provide urgent care style services and to serve as a bridge if you are between primary care providers. We offer ongoing wellness services.
We’re happy to coordinate with your existing primary care provider to ensure continuity of care, or we can recommend trusted colleagues in the area who offer primary care services. We can also refer you to specialists if deemed appropriate after your visit.
Do you offer telehealth and in person visits?
4
Yes! We can care for you virtually or in person. Many urgent care conditions can be taken care virtually in the comfort of your home or office, however if it is in your best interest to have an in person visit we will arrange that with you. Don’t know - that’s okay! Schedule a new patient appointment and we will work together to get you the right care you deserve.
What if I think I need labs, medications or imaging done? Or a referral to a specialist?
5
Don’t worry! Through our HIPPA compliant electronic health platform we can order all of the medications or tests that are deemed appropriate for your condition. We can send referrals to specialists and communicate with your other providers. We can send your prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice and find you a radiology center near you.
I want to start weight loss medications, but I don’t know where to start, or if I’m a candidate?
6
That’s okay! We are here to help guide you to optimize your everyday wellness. Weight loss medications (and hormones) can help many people, but can be dangerous for others. We are available to answer questions, find alternatives or get you started. We can talk about safety, costs, appropriate dosage and what it looks like to be supported starting, maintaining and stopping weight loss medications from a clinic who cares about more than just making money.
Do you treat chronic conditions?
7
We do not treat chronic conditions, however we can help you with medication refills, referrals and a bridge until you are able to see a specialist or primary care provider who does. We do not treat chronic pain or refill narcotic pain medications at anytime.
