Does P2P take insurance?

1

No, Point to Point Health and Wellness does not accept insurance. This allows us to provide more personalized, high quality care without the limitations and restrictions often imposed by insurance companies. We want to sit and get to know you and your health and wellness needs. We focus on spending the time needed to truly listen, evaluate, and treat each patient as an individual, not as a billing code. We aim to keep care both high-quality and affordable. For many common concerns, our pricing is similar to, or lower than, what patients might pay at urgent care or the ER after insurance, without the added uncertainty of multiple bills

However, we’re happy to provide a superbill after your visit, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Does P2P provide primary care services?

I want to start weight loss medications, but I don’t know where to start, or if I’m a candidate?

No, not at this time. Point to Point Health and Wellness is designed to provide urgent care style services and to serve as a bridge if you are between primary care providers.

We’re happy to coordinate with your existing primary care provider to ensure continuity of care, or we can recommend trusted colleagues in the area who offer primary care services. We can also refer you to specialists if deemed appropriate after your visit.

Do you offer telehealth and in person visits?

3

Yes! We can care for you virtually or in person. Many urgent care conditions can be taken care virtually in the comfort of your home or office, however if it is in your best interest to have an in person visit we will arrange that with you. Don’t know - that’s okay! Schedule a new patient appointment and we will work together to get you the right care you deserve.

What if I think I need labs, medications or imaging done?

Do you treat chronic conditions?

Don’t worry! Through our HIPPA compliant electronic health record we can order all of the medications or tests that are deemed appropriate for your condition. We can send your prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice. The laboratories and imaging centers we partner with also take health insurance.

We do not treat chronic conditions, however we can help you with medication refills, referrals and a bridge to a specialist or primary care provider who does. We do not treat chronic pain or refill narcotic pain medications.

That’s okay! We are here to help guide you to optimize your everyday wellness. Weight loss medications (and hormones) can help many people, but can be dangerous for others. We are available to answer questions, find alternatives or get you started. We can talk about safety, costs, appropriate dosage and what it looks like to be supported starting, maintaining and stopping weight loss medications from a clinic who cares about more than just making money.
